Sports injuries… not so much! 
A forehead colliding with a cheek during a soccer game caused this cheek bone fracture, also known as a zygomatic arch fracture. This injury pattern causes the cheek to look depressed (see before & after pictures) and also functionally impinges on the muscles, limiting opening and closing of the mouth. We were able to fix this in our office with minimally invasive surgery (see incision picture) utilizing 3D imaging and navigation.
